Kaden Hensel

Kaden ended his professional career in 2011 after winning 12 professional titles and reaching the final in 9 others on both the ATP and ITF tour. In 2010, Kaden competed in both singles and doubles at the Brisbane International and Australian Open and had wins over many current top 100 players such as John Isner, Milos Raonic, Vasek Pospisil, Pablo Cuevas, Paolo Lorenzi, Sam Groth, Marinko Matosevic and Dustin Brown.

Before turning professional, Kaden had an extremely decorated tennis career at the University of Tennessee, where he was ranked in the top 20 nationally for both singles and doubles, all while completing a BSc. Growing up on the Gold Coast, Kaden won 71 junior tournaments before the age of 18 including several state and national titles. Kaden is the current Queensland Open Mens Singles Champion and the current North Queensland Open Mens Singles Champion.

Kaden spent 2014 at Brisbane Boys College where he was an invaluable part of the First IV team’s success, where they won both the state and national team championships. Kaden ran private sessions/lessons with all of the firsts players and also directed the High Performance squads.

Kaden coached for two years in the US in 2011 and 2012, coaching a top 10 NCAA mens tennis program at the University of Tennessee and a top 15 NAIA mens tennis program at Tennessee Wesleyan College. He has also worked with numerous ATP and WTA ranked players. In 2013/14 Kaden was the travelling coach for former top 30 WTA player Olga Puchkova during the Australian Summer of Tennis.  Most recently, Kaden was hired to coach Bernard Tomic leading into and during the Brisbane international, Sydney International and the Australian Open.  During this time Tomic was the #1 ranked Australian and reached a career high ranking of ATP #17 in the world.
